Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with hands-on experience in managing software/SaaS products and a
strong understanding of the complete product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in PRD creation, user stories, acceptance criteria,
competitor research, product UAT, customer/user journeys, Jira/product tracking, and end-to-end product
ownership.
The candidate should be able to independently understand business and customer problems, convert them into
clear product requirements, work closely with Engineering and QA, and ensure successful delivery and validation
of product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product features and initiatives from requirement gathering through release.
- Create detailed PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) based on business and customer requirements.
- Convert product requirements into clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct market and competitor research before defining significant product features.
- Understand complete end-to-end customer/user journeys and identify product gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Track product features, stories, and tasks using Jira or equivalent product/project management tools.
- Prioritize requirements and maintain product backlogs based on business and customer value.
- Personally participate in Product UAT after QA sign-off.
- Create and execute Product UAT test cases/scenarios to validate whether features meet business and user requirements.
- Identify missing requirements, usability issues, or product gaps before release.
- Gather customer/user feedback and convert insights into product improvements.
- Support product demonstrations, release planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to product roadmap and future product direction based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
- Ensure product features are designed with scalability and future requirements in mind.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned product areas and ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant hands-on Product Management experience.
- Proven experience independently creating PRDs.
- Strong understanding of PRD structure, requirements definition, and product documentation.
- Hands-on experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience conducting competitor and market research.
- Strong understanding of customer/user journeys and product workflows.
- Experience converting business/customer problems into clear product requirements.
- Hands-on experience working directly with Engineering and QA teams.
- Experience performing Product UAT and creating UAT scenarios/test cases.
- Experience tracking product development using Jira or equivalent tools.
- Ability to track features/stories from requirement through development, testing, UAT, and release.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product development processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on SaaS, B2B/B2C, enterprise, or technology products.
- Experience with HRMS, CRM, ERP, e-commerce, automation, analytics, or other business applications.
- Experience working with web and/or mobile applications.
- Experience with product analytics and data-driven decision-making.
