Job summary

DexCare in India is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a cross-functional team and drive the vision for patient-focused web experiences. You will translate user and business needs into design strategies that shape the care-finding and booking journey, ensuring scalable and accessible outcomes.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to ship features, ITERATE from research to outcomes, and advocate for inclusive design across the DexCare platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, HCI, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in product or service design or equivalent.
• Portfolio of work (Online, PDF, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard design practices, especially E-commerce UX and web visual design.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to own timelines and deliverables, guide production.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating teams.
• Experience in feedback sessions and constructive critique.
• Self-starter with expertise in UX and design.
• Familiarity with design systems, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs/SDK concepts, React.

About The Role

DexCare is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our cross-functional team and provide customer-focused product design. You will set the vision for a complex problem space based on a deep understanding of user and business needs, as well as industry trends.

What You’ll Do :

• Produces the experience vision for DexCare web-based experiences around finding and booking care - defining what patients will experience as part of fulfilling their needs in finding, understanding, and booking medical care. This will be a core part of the broader experience of how DexCare delivers value and has broad impact
• Develops the principles, standards, and experiences to ensure a cohesive and purposeful end-to-end experience - and creates the mechanisms to scale this understanding and adherence (sharing with the product team and operationalizing processes) out to the broader DexCare team
• Delivers mockups, prototypes, design patterns, and presentations on the innovations
• Collaborate with developers to enable the technical implementation of your product
• Acts as the UX expert and can advise and advocate to the organization on web design, standards, best practices, accessibility, and exploration of experiences for search and booking of care
• Be a part of an inclusive team with values based on honesty, teamwork, and partnership
• Create an inspiring vision, strategy, and inform metrics for your product and problem space
• Understand the market, competition, and user requirements in detail
• Translate user needs into meaningful initiatives and stories
• Partner with commercial, customer experience, and engineering to design, develop, and ship new products and features
• Monitor and analyze product performance, and develop new enhancements based on data-driven analyses, KPIs, and usability research

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field AND 7+ years of experience working in product or service designor equivalent industry experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems in any number of fields)
• Portfolio of work (Online, PDF, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of industry-standard design practices, with strengths in E-commerce UX and web visual design
• Strong communicationand organizational skills
• Own your own timelines and deliverables, guide production
• Experience managing simultaneous projects and coordinating the efforts of multiple teams
• Experience in running feedback sessions, capable of taking constructive criticism
• Self-starter withexpertisein user experience and design,seeksto expand knowledge
• Understands how toutilizedesign specialties and how/when to integrate with partnering teams (PM, engineering, and commercial experience)
• Experience turning research outcomes into success stories
• Solid understanding of design systems and technical frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API's/SDK concepts, React, etc.)
• Familiarity and working knowledge of current design or management tools (Figma, Adobe suite, Jira, and others)
• Awareness of inclusive design and how it supportsDexCare'smission
• Willingness to questionestablishedthinking in pursuit of better outcomes
• Familiarity with agile or lean methodologies
• Experience in the medical space is a plus but not a requirement

Preferred Experience:

• Comfortable with modern design + AI design and development process
• Capable of producing full prototypes using web technologies (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with development best practices
• Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics production
