Qualifications

Role description:

Are you an experienced Senior Product Designer who thrives on solving complex problems and creating intuitive digital experiences?

At Arcadis, we design and build digital products that help our consultants, clients, and project teams work smarter, make better decisions, and deliver greater impact. Our applications support complex business processes, data-driven decision making, operational workflows, and the management of natural and built assets across a wide range of industries and markets.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping enterprise-scale products that simplify complexity and enable users to work more efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders across the business to transform complex requirements, data, and workflows into seamless user experiences.

You will also help strengthen our design culture by championing user-centred design practices, contributing to our design system, and mentoring other designers.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead the design of complex enterprise applications from discovery through delivery.
• Transform complex workflows, business processes, and data into intuitive user experiences.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems, shape solutions, and drive outcomes.
• Conduct user research, validate concepts, and use insights to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Contribute to and evolve the Arcadis Design System, championing accessibility, consistency, and quality.
• Leverage AI to enhance the design process and help shape AI-enabled product experiences that improve productivity and decision-making.
• Mentor designers and help foster a collaborative, user-centred design culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a related discipline.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design of complex web-based products or enterprise applications.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows, operational processes, or data-rich experiences into intuitive solutions.
• Proficiency in user research, interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
• Understanding of AI-assisted design practices and emerging AI interaction patterns.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.

Portfolio requirement

A portfolio review presentation is required as part of the interview process. Your presentation should showcase your design work, demonstrate your problem-solving approach, and illustrate how you translate complex business or user challenges into effective product solutions.

Your resume must include a link to your design portfolio.
