Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
  • 7-10 years in Workplace Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Commercial Design Management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of document management and tracking progress.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Corporate Services, Workplace Design, Capital Management, Planning, and COE teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with COE and Regional Capital Management to align deliverables and timelines.
  • Coordinate with project managers and global stakeholders to drive project execution and operational excellence.
  • Manage project schedules, workloads, deliverables, and progress across multiple workstreams.
  • Establish project trackers, document action items, and prepare stakeholder presentations.
  • Ensure alignment with global workplace design standards and governance frameworks.
  • Provide regular updates on performance, risk, and operations to leadership.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams through effective communication and training.

Role description:

The Workplace Design Manager & Coordinator – Architectural will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating workplace design projects to ensure they align with corporate standards, stakeholder needs, and operational objectives. As a core member of the Centre of Excellence (COE) team, this role is responsible for organizing project meetings, setting and tracking team deliverables, and driving continuous improvement in design outcomes. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, project managers, and external consultants to deliver consistent, high-quality workplace solutions. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and foster a culture of proactive problem‑solving and teamwork.

Role accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with Corporate Services, Workplace Design, Capital Management, Planning, and COE teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as a key liaison between COE and Regional Capital Management teams to align project deliverables, timelines, and stage‑gate requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and cross‑functional global stakeholders to drive project execution and operational excellence.
  • Manage project schedules, team workloads, deliverables, and progress tracking across multiple workstreams.
  • Establish and maintain project trackers, document action items and feedback, and prepare presentations for stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure alignment with global workplace design standards, governance frameworks, policies, and best practices while addressing project‑specific requirements.
  • Provide regular performance, risk, and operational updates to leadership, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Lead and develop high‑performing teams through effective communication, talent development, training, succession planning, and proactive issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required) as well as experience working within an investment bank or financial services industry strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Workplace Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Commercial Design Management.
  • Proven organizational skills, ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.
  • Strong knowledge of document management, track progress and deliverables.
