Job summary

Greythr, Bengaluru-based, seeks a senior UX/UI designer to own end-to-end design for enterprise SaaS modules and guide a small design team. You will drive design reviews, mentor juniors, and advance our centralized design system while embedding AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research and delivery.

You will collaborate with product and engineering, ensure design quality, and maintain a strong focus on user experience across cloud-based workflows.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in UX/UI design for enterprise SaaS, B2B cloud apps, or similar.
• Proven experience leading design reviews, mentoring junior designers, or taking on people management.
• Mastery of Figma including Auto-Layout, Variables, Component Architecture, Dev Mode, and Design System governance.
• Strong grounding in Design Thinking, Information Architecture, and Product Strategy.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into design research, copy, and UI generation workflows.
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX/UI design for complex enterprise SaaS modules.
• Lead and mentor a small team of 2-4 UX/UI designers; conduct 1:1s and reviews.
• Drive evolution of the Design System; ensure standardization across pods.
• Embed AI-first workflows into design processes to accelerate research and delivery.
• Plan sprint capacity and ensure on-time delivery of production-ready assets.
• Establish efficient dev-handoff workflows and governance with engineering and product.

Job description

• Core Workflow Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of complex, high-priority HR tech modules (e.g., payroll engines, performance management, workforce analytics, mobile attendance).
• High-Fidelity Artifacts: Produce complete UX artifacts—from user journeys and wireframes to production-ready Figma mockups, interactive prototypes, and micro-interactions.
• Design Systems: Drive the evolution of our centralized Figma Design System (tokens, auto-layout, interactive components) and ensure component standardization across all pods.
• AI-First Workflows: Embed modern AI design tools (Figma AI, ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) into the team’s day-to-day workflow to maximize design velocity and research automation.
• People Management: Manage, guide, and mentor a small team of 2-4 UX/UI designers. Conduct regular 1:1s, design critiques, and performance reviews.
• Quality & Governance: Set high standards for visual design, interaction quality, and design system usage across the team's output.
• Sprint & Capacity Planning: Allocate design resources within the pod, balance workload across sprint cycles, and ensure on-time delivery of dev-ready assets.
• Process Optimization: Establish efficient dev-handoff workflows, usability testing cadence, and cross-functional alignment habits with engineering and product.

LOOKING FOR

• 8 to 10 years of total experience in UX/UI design for enterprise SaaS, B2B cloud applications, or
• Proven experience (or demonstrated strong readiness) in leading design reviews, mentoring junior designers, or stepping into formal people management.
• Mastery of Figma (Auto-Layout, Variables, Component Architecture, Dev Mode, Design System Governance).
• Strong grounding in Design Thinking, Information Architecture, and Product Strategy.
• Practical experience incorporating AI tools into design research, copy, and UI generation workflows.
• Strong cross-functional alignment skills - ability to push back on unrealistic tech constraints and advocate strongly for user experience with PMs and Dev Leads.
• Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
