Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Hyderabad, India, seeks a Test Lead for the Finance Transformation Delivery Centre to own end-to-end testing in SAP S/4HANA projects. You will drive planning, coordination, and execution across testing stages, aligning with business and IT stakeholders.

You will lead UAT and defect resolution while coordinating test environments, data preparation, and status reporting in a fast-paced, international delivery centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business/Accounting or corresponding experience.
• 5-8 years of testing experience.
• 3+ years SAP S4HANA application experience in one or more areas: ERP implementations in SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, MDG.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing and UAT for enterprise transformation initiatives in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Coordinate testing across business teams, IT, integration and data governance.
• Manage test case plans and testing trackers; ensure progress is visible to stakeholders.
• Ensure test environments are ready and data is prepared for testing.
• Report testing status and escalate defects to ensure timely resolution.

You will be joining the Finance Transformation Deliver Centre, which is a global deliver centre for Finance Transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Test Lead is responsible for managing end-to-end testing activities for enterprise transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA environments. This role owns the planning, coordination, execution oversight, and status reporting for integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. The position acts as the central point of contact across business teams, IT, integration teams, master data governance, and other stakeholders to ensure testing is executed smoothly and defects are resolved on time.

Core responsibility

• Develop a detailed understanding of the business processes and system integration points in SAP


• Lead and oversee Integration / E2E testing; maintain visibility into UAT execution progress


• Finalize the pre-testing initiation checklist, verify all prerequisites are met, and facilitate the hand-over meeting before test execution begins


• Own the test case plan and testing tracker; ensure execution tasks are assigned and progress is visible


• Ensure test environment readiness and coordinate data preparation from integration teams


• Collaborate with application teams, IT, master data governance, and integration teams to support test execution and promptly address defects


• Facilitate test kick-offs, scope sign-offs, and readiness approvals for INT/E2E and UAT testing phases


• Ensure test case pass results are approved by business change management, documentation is maintained in the test management system


• Ensure continuous end to end visibility and focus into UAT execution, result validation, and defect retesting progress


• Maintain the testing and defect tracker; produce status reports at named-resource level for all testing participants


• Deliver regular consolidated test status reporting to external stakeholders (project board, management, FTIO)


• Escalate issues and delays to the Testing Finance Delivery Centre Manager

Key Activities

• Pre-testing checklist finalization and test readiness sign-off


• Test case plan ownership and progress tracking


• Test script scope sign-off facilitation


• INT/E2E test kick-off, execution oversight, and sign-off facilitation


• UAT kick-off and lifecycle monitoring


• Test status reporting to participants and external stakeholder

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business/Accounting or corresponding experience


• 5-8 Years of testing experience


• 3+ Years SAP S4HANA application experience in one/ or many of these areas: ERP implementations in SAP FI, SAP CO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAPMDG


• Strong accounting knowledge


• Understanding of testing phases (End to end testing, User Acceptance Testing, Integration testing) and approval workflows


• Knowledge of release cycles and country/division-specific requirements


• Understanding of enterprise integration architecture and system landscapes


• Expertise in JIRA


• Strong coordination skills for working with multiple stakeholders, including integration system owners, local finance, Business Change Management, and Group Process Owner teams


• Prior experience in transport and logistics sector is an advantage
