Job Description
Revit Modeler will coordinate with the Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and deliver scheduled tasks in the form of quality drawings. The role requires a proactive, team‑oriented professional who can manage and execute complex modelling responsibilities.
- Digitalization of existing drawings into 3D Revit models from CAD or PDF format.
- Modelling of mechanical/HVAC installations in 3D Revit MEP.
- Measurements (area of floors, windows and facades) from existing PDF/CAD drawings and/or 3D Revit models.
- Responsible for organisation, production, and quality of work as directed by Technical Manager/Principal Engineer.
- Act as Revit Modeler as required by project scope.
- Coordinate design efforts across all groups and maintain project records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Monitor and check for clashes.
- Manage BIM data and modelling workflows.
- Utilise additional software such as Grasshopper, Rhino, Dynamo, etc.
Qualifications
- Must hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 12 to 15 years’ experience as a BIM modeler/engineer.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Revit MEP, and related software.
- Experience with Navisworks, Solibri (advantage), Inventor, Vault (advantage).
- Familiarity with Middle‑East, UK, and Nordic regional standards and regulations.
- Professional English language skills, written and verbal.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
