Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with a strong embedded software and systems background.
• Deep expertise in embedded platforms, Linux OS internals, and architecture.
• Proven track record in security-by-design, threat modeling, and secure design practices.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and OSS security/compliance management.
• Ability to lead platform-level initiatives and influence cross-functional teams across multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ownership of embedded platforms across products.
• Define and partner with architects to build platform modules for M5 embedded software and security platforms.
• Provide deep technical leadership in embedded systems, Linux OS internals, and security architecture.
• Embed security into the full SDLC and post-market activities (security by design, validation).
• Drive standards, frameworks, and architecture decisions across teams and platforms.
• Lead strategic initiatives on platform hardening, shift-left security, and release acceleration.

Job description

What you will do:

Sr. Principal Engineer responsible forend-to-end embedded platforms (EmbeddedSoftware (Mako 5 platform), Embedded OS LifecycleManagement and product security). Operates at theintersection of architecture, development, and security, driving platform lifecycle strategy, technical excellence, and security-by-design across products.

• Partner with other platform and software architects to develop platform tech block/modules.


• Platform Ownership: Define and partner with architects to architecture modules for M5embeddedsoftware, OS LifecycleManagement (Flex OS), and security platformsacross product lines.


• Technical Leadership: Provide deepexpertiseinembedded systems, Linux/OS internals, productsecurityand systems architecture.


• Security Integration: Embedsecurity-by-design (threatmodeling, secure design, validation)into the full SDLC and post-market product security activities.


• Cross-Team Influence: Drivestandards, frameworks, and architecture decisionsacross multiple teams and platforms


• Strategic Initiatives: Lead initiatives onplatform hardening, shift-left security, quality improvement, and release acceleration
