Job summary

Ray Business Technologies in Hyderabad, India, seeks an experienced Senior Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Developer to join our data engineering and analytics team. You will design and develop data pipelines, semantic models, and interactive dashboards using Fabric and Power BI to deliver governed insights.

You will work with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to build scalable BI solutions, implement RLS, optimize performance, and contribute to CI/CD for deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Proven expertise in designing data pipelines, semantic models, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows, OneLake).
• Experience with governance, metadata, and lineage tracking in Fabric or similar.
• CI/CD / DevOps for Power BI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop Fabric Lakehouses, Dataflows, and semantic models for analytics.
• Create and publish Power BI dashboards with strong data modeling and DAX.
• Implement RLS and access controls for secure reporting.
• Ensure metadata, lineage, and data quality governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate KPIs into analytics.
• Optimize datasets and reports for performance and scalability.

our data engineering and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience

in designing and developing data pipelines, semantic models, and interactive dashboards

using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The role involves working closely with data engineers,

architects, and business analysts to build scalable, governed, and insight-driven BI solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and manage Fabric Lakehouses, Dataflows, and Semantic Models for analytics and reporting.
• Create and publish Power BI dashboards with strong data modeling, DAX and visualization standards.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace access controls for secure reporting.
• Ensure metadata, lineage, and data quality governance within Fabric environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business KPIs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Optimize Power BI datasets and reports for performance and scalability.
• Participate in UAT, documentation, and deployment of BI deliverables.

• Exposure to AI/CoPilot integration or predictive analytics using Power BI or Fabric ML.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for Power BI deployments.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and validation mechanisms.
