Job summary

Shavish Group in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Product Development and Architecture Expert to lead complex Java-based fintech projects. You will drive architectural direction, collaborate with fintech partners, and mentor senior engineers across web and mobile platforms.

You will apply deep Java knowledge, cloud-native practices, and modern engineering concepts to deliver scalable, secure solutions from inception to production.

Job description

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Product Development and Product Customization, Product design related to Banking and Finance domain in all facets of the web and mobile application development life cycle from Product inception to Product implementation.
• Worked in the Capacity of Technical Architect/Solution Architect (Java)/Product Manager/Senior Engineering Manager
• Product development expertise in Finance domain and Product like LOS(Loan Origination System) and Payment Systems.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Senior Java developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize strong Core Java knowledge and expertise to review and guide the team in writing high-quality, efficient, and scalable Java code.
• ScopeDefinition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
• Worked on latest Java version Java 21,25 Framework- Spring Boot, Quarkus
• Have Product experience of AI/ML based solution with framework like Django, Fast API etc. Agentic AI will be an advantage
• Application development experience using Non-Structured (Mongo, Scylla, Datastore) and Structured databases (Postgres, My-SQL, MS SQL server, Oracle)
• Have working experience on Kafka, Rabbit-MQ etc
• Must have the working knowledge of Code Quality using tool like Sonar etc.
• Working knowledge of CICD pipelines.
• Should able to design Application Architecture, lead Architectural discussion across all Team with various departments, Fintech Partners
• Experience with client-facing roles and managing customer expectations is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Java projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong leadership skills and ability to self-manage
• Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
