Job summary

Align Knowledge Centre in Pune is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer/Architect for Infrastructure Engineering & Design, focusing on enterprise infrastructure, application delivery, networking, load balancing, middleware and security.

The role emphasizes F5, on-prem + cloud, and a strong stance in networking or middleware with broader coverage of related domains. Hybrid onsite 3 days/week, not a cloud/DevOps role.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced expertise in at least one of Networking or Middleware.
• Experience in on-premises and hybrid infrastructure.
• Hands-on with F5 load balancers and application delivery.
• Strong understanding of DNS, GSLB, and internet architecture.
• Experience in troubleshooting production infrastructure.
• Experience in design and solutioning for infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Review application infrastructure requirements and translate them into secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Design and support application delivery architectures involving F5 load balancers, networking, firewalls, WAF and API gateways.
• Collaborate with application, security, cloud/platform and infrastructure teams on solution design.
• Participate in architecture/design reviews and present infrastructure solutions to stakeholders.
• Manage implementation through change requests and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot application connectivity, traffic flow, load balancing, DNS and infrastructure issues.
• Support highly available and resilient enterprise platforms.
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation and platform modernization.

Senior Platform Engineer Infrastructure Engineering & Design | Mastercard | Pune

Experience: 4-8 years Location: Pune | Hybrid 3 days/week onsite

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer/Architect to join the Infrastructure Engineering & Design team, focused on enterprise infrastructure, application delivery, networking, load balancing, middleware and security.

This is NOT a Cloud/DevOps role. We are specifically looking for engineers with strong experience in F5/application delivery and enterprise infrastructure, with depth in at least one of Networking, Middleware or Cloud.
