Job summary

A modern tech consultancy is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and maintain the infrastructure for production systems. This hands-on role requires 6–9 years of experience in Platform Engineering, strong skills in AWS, and experience with Kubernetes. Where You'll Come In

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and internal platforms that power production systems at scale. You will work closely with engineering teams across geographies to improve reliability, security, automation, and deployment velocity.

This is a hands on, senior level role requiring strong technical depth and the ability to operate independently.

What you'll do

• Developing and maintaining custom software solutions
• Working with different technologies, including GCP, AWS (primarily Cloud Functions) and web development
• Designing, coding, implementing, and testing applications
• Creating documentation and ensuring the security and integrity of software applications
• Automating business processes through custom code
• Daily code pushes

Requirements

• 6–9+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / SRE
• Hybrid role - requires 2 days in the office
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platform)
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and distributed systems
• Experience managing production‑grade systems
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced consulting environment
