Job summary

Carbon Resources is seeking a hands-on plant operations professional for a Coal Tar Distillation Plant in India. The role focuses on managing the full plant operations, coordinating production, raw materials, storage, and logistics to ensure uninterrupted and safe plant performance.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in coal tar distillation with supervisory exposure and strong process-management skills to optimize production and dispatch schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a Coal Tar Distillation Plant.
• Senior/supervisory position experience preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of plant operations, coal tar distillation, and process management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the complete plant operation and production process efficiently and safely.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, raw-material availability, storage, dispatch, and logistics.
• Plan and prioritize product dispatches based on customer requirements, production status, and delivery schedules.
• Manage tanker placement, loading, scheduling, and movement to ensure timely dispatches.
• Coordinate the lifting and availability of raw materials within tight and demanding schedules.
• Monitor tank/storage capacity and ensure proper planning of material movement, transfers, and finished-product storage.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, stores, purchase, and commercial teams to avoid operational bottlenecks.
• Ensure that production priorities are aligned with dispatch commitments and raw-material availability.
• Handle day-to-day operational issues and take timely decisions to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
• Maintain effective process discipline, operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across the plant.
