Job summary

ExxonMobil India invites applications for a Senior PI Analyst to join the Bengaluru team. You will drive AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System data infrastructure and analytics for industrial operations, collaborating with Upstream, IT, and engineering in a global agile setup to deliver reliable, real-time data solutions.

Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and supporting PI System components, developing dashboards, and ensuring data quality and availability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System in industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience with PI AF, Data Archive, PI Vision.
• Strong knowledge of OPC UA, Modbus, cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD.
• End-to-end PI system integration with IT and OT teams.

We are looking for a Senior PI Analyst to join our Bengaluru team, driving AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System data infrastructure and analytics for industrial operations. You will work with Upstream business, engineering, and IT teams in a global agile setup to deliver reliable, real‑time data solutions and enhance operational performance.

Primary Job Functions

• Design, configure, and support PI System (Data Archive, AF, PI Vision)
• Develop AF models, event frames, analytics, and dashboards
• Ensure data quality, availability, and real‑time insights
• Troubleshoot data flows, interfaces, and performance issues
• Integrate PI with SCADA, MES, ERP, and cloud platforms
• Work in agile teams, collaborating with IT and stakeholders for delivery and improvements

Job Requirements

• Experience with PI Analytics, Event Frames, Integrator/Adaptor, OPC UA
• Knowledge of OPC, Modbus, cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD
• Industry experience (Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Utilities)
• Strong stakeholder collaboration; AVEVA certifications a plus
• End‑to‑end Hands‑on understanding of OSIPI /AVEAVa system, server, client tools, integration tools (web API / integrator)

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• B.E/B.Tech in any field
• 8+ years in AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System
• AVEVA Accreditation is an advantage
• End‑to‑end Hands‑on understanding of OSIPI /AVEAVa system, server, client tools, integration tools (web API / integrator)
• Strong expertise in PI AF, Data Archive, PI Vision, PI Web API
• Knowledge of time‑series data, SQL, and scripting (PowerShell/Python/.NET)
• Experience with PI Interfaces/Connectors and industrial data systems
• Ability to independently deliver and work in agile environments
