Capgemini Engineering is seeking an AVEVA PI System Engineer/Consultant to design, implement, and support PI System environments in the Oil & Gas domain. The role demands hands-on PI DA, PI AF, and PI Vision expertise, plus configuring PI Interfaces and managing system upgrades.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience with AVEVA PI System solutions.
• Hands-on experience with PI DA, PI AF, and PI Vision.
• Design, implement, upgrade, and support PI System environments.
• Configure and maintain PI Interfaces including OPC DA, PI-to-PI, PI UFL, and PI RDBMS.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server and PowerShell.
• Experience in Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AVEVA PI System Engineer/Consultant with strong expertise in implementing, administering, upgrading, and supporting PI System environments within the Oil & Gas domain. The role requires hands-on experience with PI infrastructure, interfaces, historian architecture, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Design, implement, configure, and support AVEVA PI System environments.
• Install, implement, upgrade, and administer PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision components.
• Configure and maintain PI Interfaces including PI OPC DA, PI-to-PI, PI UFL, and PI RDBMS Interfaces.
• Support deployment of new PI System architectures and infrastructure enhancements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4–7 years of experience working with AVEVA PI System solutions.

• Experience in:
• AVEVA PI System Installation, Implementation, Upgrade and Configuration.

• Implementation of new architecture of PI System
• Experience with PI System upgrades and patch managementDemonstrated ability to resolve complex production issues

• Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex production support issues.
