Job summary

Jobtailor in India is seeking a senior PeopleSoft Administrator to manage and safeguard ERP environments from development to production. You will install, configure, and patch PeopleTools, monitor 24x7 production health, and coordinate DR drills while collaborating with DBAs and infrastructure teams.

The role requires 7–10+ years of PeopleSoft experience, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10+ years of PeopleSoft Administration / ERP support experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools installation, configuration, and patching.
• Experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, and batch management.
• Experience with Oracle Database.
• Operating-system experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Experience supporting 24x7 production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in global teams.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Familiarity with OCI or AWS environments is an advantage.
• Master’s degree and relevant certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and safeguard enterprise PeopleSoft environments across development, testing, and production tiers.

• Perform system health checks and proactive monitoring for high availability in 24x7 production environments.
• Monitor and tune application, web, and database servers, including online performance, batch processes, database interactions, and workload balancing.
• Coordinate and support Disaster Recovery drills and maintain failover-environment readiness and data synchronization.
• Collaborate with DBAs, middleware, and infrastructure teams.
• Build and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and SOPs.

• Configure and manage PeopleSoft Process Scheduler, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch jobs and workflows
• Plan and execute PeopleTools upgrades, application updates, patches, and bundles
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, participate in outage calls and root cause analysis, and develop resolution strategies
• Coordinate and support Disaster Recovery drills and maintain failover-environment readiness and data synchronization
• Collaborate with DBAs, middleware, and infrastructure teams
• Build and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and SOPs

Requirements
