Job summary

Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies (Hiring for a Client) in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Pega Developer to design, develop, and implement complex business applications on the Pega Platform. You will own case management structures, workflows, and enterprise integrations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of hands-on Pega development, deep Pega architecture knowledge, and experience with system integrations and debugging tools. CSSA or CSA certification is preferred.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pega Developer with 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex business applications using the Pega Platform. In this role, you will take technical ownership of case management structures, workflow automations, and enterprise-level system integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise following Pega best practices, ensuring strict compliance with application guardrails and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Configuration: Design, build, customize, and maintain enterprise applications using Pega rules, flows, case types, and data objects.
• Process Automation: Configure complex workflows, strategic business rules, decision patterns, and end-to-end case management frameworks.
• Rules Customization: Implement core Pega components including Activities, Data Transforms, When Rules, Decision Tables, and Declare Expressions.
• Integration & Data Modeling: Integrate Pega applications with external legacy frameworks using REST and SOAP web services while optimizing data pages and data access mechanisms.
• Governance & Performance: Enforce Pega security, authorization, and access control profiles while driving application performance tuning, debugging routines, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of dedicated, hands‑on software development experience within the Pega Platform ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of Pega application architecture, class structures, and inheritance patterns.
• Proven track record working with system integrations, debugging tools (Tracer, Clipboard), and performance profiling.
• Preferred Certification: Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) status.
• Experience with Pega Customer Service, Customer Decision Hub, or large-scale enterprise deployments is a major advantage.
