Graduate/Diploma in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, or related field
Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, print artwork and product packaging projects.
Experience in electronics, consumer products, manufacturing or technology companies is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with packaging printers and production vendors is preferred.
- Ability to take packaging projects from concept to final production.

Responsibilities
1. Packaging Design & Development
- Design primary, secondary and tertiary packaging for electronics and consumer products.
- Develop packaging concepts aligned with product positioning, brand guidelines and customer requirements.
- Create box designs, sleeves, pouches, inserts, labels, stickers and other packaging components.
- Develop packaging layouts with clear hierarchy, typography, imagery, icons and product information.
- Create packaging variants for different SKUs, models, colours and markets.
- Prepare and modify packaging dielines according to approved structural dimensions.
- Create accurate print-ready artwork with correct bleed, margins, folds, cut lines and safety areas.
- Manage artwork specifications including dimensions, material, finish, printing process and colour requirements.
- Ensure barcodes, QR codes, regulatory information, product specifications and mandatory content are correctly placed.
- Prepare final files in appropriate formats for printing and production.
- Create 2D packaging layouts and 3D packaging mockups for internal and customer approvals.
- Work with structural packaging vendors to develop practical and cost-effective packaging solutions.
- Evaluate packaging usability, product fit, protection and presentation.
- Support packaging development for new product launches and engineering changes.
- Coordinate with packaging printers, suppliers and vendors for artwork execution and sampling.
- Review colour proofs, samples, mockups and pre-production packaging.
- Check print quality, dimensions, finishing, alignment and artwork accuracy before mass production.
- Resolve artwork and production issues with vendors and internal teams.
- Maintain packaging specifications and approved artwork records.
5. Branding & Product Communication
- Ensure packaging follows Brandworks and customer brand guidelines.
- Create visually strong packaging that communicates product features and value proposition clearly.
- Support product launches with packaging visuals, mockups and presentation material.
- Maintain consistency across packaging, product labels and marketing collateral.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with NPD, Product, Marketing, Purchase, Quality, Production and SCM teams.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand packaging requirements.
- Manage multiple packaging projects and deliver artwork within agreed timelines.
- Maintain version control and organized packaging artwork documentation.
Job Summary
The Senior Packaging Designer will develop packaging concepts, structural layouts, dielines, print-ready artwork, product packaging systems and packaging communication from concept through final production. The candidate should understand both creative design and practical packaging execution.
