Job summary

Aarushi Infotech in Maharashtra, India is seeking an experienced OSS Strategy Architect to lead the future OSS direction, align with business goals, and drive the enterprise architecture roadmap.

You will collaborate with executive leadership, translate industry standards like TM Forum eTOM and FCAPS into actionable roadmaps, and guide large telecom IT projects across network management, service fulfillment, and topology.

Qualifications

• .BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technology degree.
• 15+ years’ experience in Telecom field.
• 5+ years’ experience in strategy, architecture and OSS.
• Strong knowledge in IT and Telco applications and technologies.
• Experience with OSS functions (Network management, service delivery, fulfillment, inventory, activation).
• Familiarity with telco industry standards (TM Forum eTOM, TAM, FCAPS).
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Engage in OSS Next Gen Use Case discussions and architecture direction.
• Lead business and operation discussions for OSS direction.
• Align OSS strategy with company goals and Institute objectives.
• Work with executive Leadership to set OSS technology roadmap.
• Ensure OSS alignment with TM Forum/TMF).
• Review project proposals to avoid duplication and misalignment with strategy.

Position Overview

The Application strategy architecture is one of several architecture domains that form the pillars of an enterprise architecture or solution architecture. OSS strategy architect responsibility goes around Leading and coordinating the business discussions relative to the of the OSS direction. Participates in ecosystem strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value OSS use cases and related business objectives and drivers. Contributes to the Technology strategy and ensures alignment with business and operation goals.

Also, determine the industry standard, best approach and practices to utilize the OSS technologies beside avoiding potential conflicts and overlapping. Ensure technology strategy compliance to organization policies and guidelines. OSS strategies to develop the high level business roadmap for coming years according to valuable and proven technologies in the technology market.

Responsibilities / Job Description

• Engage in all aspects related to OSS Next Gen Use Cases.
• Lead the business and operation discussions relative to the future OSS architecture direction.
• Aligns architectural strategy with business and operation strategies.
• Works with executive Leadership to establish an OSS Next Gen technology strategy and the relevant business roadmap.
• Aligns architecture strategy with Institute goals.
• Ensure of OSS use cases alignment with the overall company's strategy and business goals.
• Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for the company's OSS use cases.
• Communicate with other Application Architecture domains (ESS and BSS) and Business Architecture, data, infrastructure and clouddigital to complement the overall enterprise recommendation and suggestions.
• Review technology sector projects proposals to ensure no functional duplication or divergent from organization business and technology strategies.
• Determine enhancement opportunities for OSS use cases and analyzing the ongoing projects impact on the business / operation OSS Next Gen roadmap.
• Engaged in the evolution of architecture of the OSS domain (Performance and Fault management, passive and active Inventory & Topology management, network discovery, VAS, Trouble Ticketing management, Engineering Systems, network monitoring tools, GIS, etc..).
• Ensure alignment with leading frameworks, e.g., SOA, and TMF Framework, FCAPS.
• Support STC subsidiaries in all architectural aspects of OSS domain and initiatives.

Required Qualification / ExperienceEducation

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related technology degree.

Experience

• 15+ years’ experience in Telecom field.
• 5+ years’ experience strategy, architecture and OSS.
• Strong knowledge in IT and Telco applications and technologies.
• Strong experience in OSS functions (Network management systems, service delivery, service fulfillment including the network inventory, activation and provisioning, service assurance, etc..).
• Strong knowledge in telco industry standards (e.g., TM forum eTOM, TAM, FCAPS).
• Participated in large scale (enterprise) IT\Telco applications projects and implementations.
• High communication skills in managing different stakeholder’s views and expectations.
• Good knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills – time and stress management, presentation skills, teamwork, self-awareness, confidence and leadership skills.
• Ability to explain complex business/operation issues with the ability propose resolutions.

Preferred Certifications

• TOGAF Certified.
• ArchiMate 3 Practitioner.
• The Open Group Certified IT Specialist (Open CITS).
• Certified TM Forum Frameworks transformation manager.
• ITIL Certified.
