Job summary

GSSTech Group seeks a senior Oracle Database Engineer to support critical tech projects and automate Oracle DBA operations using DevOps tools. This is a hands-on, high-pressure role with multiple concurrent production environments and tight timelines.

Key responsibilities include managing enterprise Oracle databases, RAC/Data Guard architectures, RMAN backups, OEM monitoring, and cloud deployments on OCI/AWS. Strong automation and Unix/Linux skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science is mandatory.
• 6+ years in large enterprise environments with Oracle DBA focus.
• Experience with OCI and AWS cloud deployments.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux admin, and automation skills.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC/Data Guard and OEM.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise-scale Oracle databases in production.
• Design and maintain Oracle RAC and Data Guard architectures.
• Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Manage backup/recovery with RMAN and OEM monitoring.
• Automate DBA tasks using Ansible, Git, Bash/Python scripting.
• Support cloud deployments on OCI and AWS and collaborate with Agile teams.

We are looking for a senior Oracle Database Engineer to support critical technology projects and automate Oracle DBA operations using modern DevOps and automation tools.
This is a hands-on, high-pressure role involving multiple parallel projects, production environments, and strict delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise-scale Oracle databases in production environments
• Design and maintain Oracle RAC and Data Guard architectures
• Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning
• Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN
• Monitor and manage databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
• Support cloud-based Oracle deployments on OCI and AWS
• Automate repetitive DBA tasks using Ansible, Git, and scripting
• Collaborate with Agile delivery teams across multiple concurrent projects
• Ensure database stability, security, and high availability in regulated environments

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 6+ years of experience in large enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
