Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction processing, account management, reconciliations, and customer service operations.
• Ensure compliant, efficient delivery of banking services per regulatory standards and policies.
• Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff for high performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, digitization and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and IT to align operations and customer service.
• Act as Level 3/Super Checker for financial and critical transactions.
• Serve as SME for the managed operational area and handle specialized activities.
• Resolve complex queries and ensure compliance.
• Liaise with Product, Compliance and other bank stakeholders.
• Act as first-level escalation point for the sub-unit.
• Manage testing and transaction monitoring activities.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Operations Specialist - Liability Operations (F) is responsible for managing customer request processing and ensuring seamless coordination among internal stakeholders such as Branches and Relationship Managers. The role focuses on delivering efficient transaction processing, enhancing customer experience, and driving process improvements and automation. As an individual contributor, the specialist also manages complex processes and digital initiatives within the Retail Liability Operations function.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational activities including transaction processing, account management, reconciliations, and customer service operations.
• Ensure efficient and compliant delivery of banking services in line with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Supervise, train, and mentor operational staff to maintain high performance and professional development.
• Identify and implement process improvements, digitization, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Risk, Compliance, and IT to ensure operational alignment and seamless customer service.
• Act as a Level 3 or Super Checker for financial and critical transactions/service requests.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the managed operational area.
• Contribute individually to specialized activities and processes.
• Ensure compliance and resolve complex queries.
• Liaise with Product, Compliance, and other bank stakeholders.
