Job summary

Elecbits seeks a seasoned Program Manager to own end-to-end box-build programs, from RFQ evaluation to production and ongoing customer support. The role requires driving program reviews, cost modelling, DFM/DFT reviews, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality to ensure on-time delivery, quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years of direct ownership of customer programs, costing or a business unit in EMS/electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with PCBA-to-system integration, cable and harness assembly, reading engineering drawings, connectors and torque controls, enclosure assembly, ESD handling and end-of-line testing.
• DFM, DFA and DFT reviews, EVT/DVT/PVT builds, process-flow development, line balancing, fixture readiness and test coverage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, customer relationship management, communication and problem-solving for cross-functional teams in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end box-build programs from RFQ through production and post-delivery support.
• Lead program reviews, forecast discussions, delivery commitments and change requests with customers.
• Develop and validate costing models for BOM, NRE, tooling and overheads for accurate quotations.
• Drive early DFM/DFX reviews and EVT/DVT/PVT builds with engineering and production teams.
• Ensure quality and compliance with IPC, PFMEA and other project-specific requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality.
• Oversee manufacturing execution and supply chain planning, including MRP, S&OP and capacity planning.

Role & responsibilities

1. Program & Customer Ownership:

• Own end-to-end box-build programs, from RFQ evaluation and NPI through production, delivery and ongoing customer support.
• Manage enterprise customer relationships by leading program reviews, forecast discussions, delivery commitments and change requests.
• Resolve customer escalations promptly and track performance against agreed targets.

2. Commercial Management & Costing:

• Develop and validate costing models covering BOM, conversion costs, overheads, yield losses, NRE and tooling, for accurate quotations.
• Manage pricing and commercial terms, including volume-based pricing, NCNR commitments, material liabilities and E&O exposure.
• Track quoted versus actual costs to protect program profitability and drive cost reduction.

3. NPI & Production Readiness:

• Lead early DFM, DFA and DFT reviews with engineering teams before design release.
• Drive EVT/DVT/PVT builds, line validation, fixture development and test coverage.
• Manage engineering change control and a documented handover to production.

5. Quality & Compliance:

• Strengthen quality through IPC standards, FPY monitoring, PFMEA and control plans.
• Drive root-cause analysis, 8D corrective actions and RMA resolution.
• Support automotive requirements, including APQP, PPAP and IATF 16949, where the program scope requires them.

6. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence:

• Lead and develop cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality.
• Set clear responsibilities, performance expectations and capability-development plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, delivery and inventory performance.

7. Manufacturing Execution & Supply Chain Planning:

• Oversee box-build execution, including cable harnesses, mechanical assembly, enclosure integration, functional and end-of-line testing, traceability and packaging.
• Manage production and material planning through MRP, S&OP and capacity planning, and resolve lead-time issues, shortages and supply constraints.
• Optimise inventory and working capital through buffer stocks, inventory ageing reviews and control of E&O materials.

Preferred candidate profile

1. 1216 years in EMS or electronics manufacturing, including at least 4–5 years of direct ownership of customer programs, costing or a business unit.
2. PCBA-to-system integration, cable and harness assembly, reading engineering drawings, connectors, fastening and torque controls, enclosure assembly, ESD handling, functional and end-of-line testing, serial traceability and packaging.
3. DFM, DFA and DFT reviews, EVT/DVT/PVT builds, process-flow development, line balancing, fixture readiness, test coverage, engineering change control, and production release based on documented readiness criteria.
4. MRP, S&OP, demand and capacity balancing, component lead times, MOQs, material allocation, approved alternates, safety stock, shortage recovery and inventory ageing.
5. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, customer relationship management, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
