Job summary

Code Vyasa is seeking a Senior Okta IAM/IGA Engineer in Bengaluru to design, implement, and automate enterprise identity solutions on the Okta platform. You will lead lifecycle management, application integrations, and governance workflows to ensure secure access across the organization.

The role emphasizes hands-on expertise in Okta Identity Cloud, IGA capabilities, and development skills—workflows, REST APIs, and SDKs—across SAML/OIDC/OAuth/SCIM integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud / Okta IAM.
• Extensive Okta IGA / Identity Governance experience, including Access Requests and Certifications.
• Hands-on Okta Workflows for lifecycle automation, approvals, and integrations.
• Okta Developer capabilities with Event Hooks, Inline Hooks, REST APIs and SDKs.
• Experience with JML / Identity Lifecycle Management.
• Expertise in SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SCIM.
• Okta Administration and Integration: Universal Directory, Profile Editor, Profile Mapping, Group Rules, IdP/Federation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage IAM/IGA solutions using Okta Identity Cloud.
• Configure Okta IGA capabilities like Access Requests, Certifications, and Resource Catalogs.
• Develop Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes for automated lifecycle management.
• Build identity automation with Okta Workflows: approvals, provisioning, and lifecycle events.
• Develop and integrate solutions using Okta Event Hooks, Inline Hooks, REST APIs, and SDKs.
• Design app integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
• Administer Universal Directory, Profile Editor, Profile Mapping, Group Rules, and IdP/Federation.
• Support onboarding of apps with authentication, provisioning, and authorization requirements.
• Implement governance controls for least-privilege and periodic access reviews.

We are looking for a Senior Okta IGA / IAM Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Okta Identity Cloud, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), and Identity & Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, and automating enterprise identity solutions using the Okta platform.

The role requires strong expertise in identity lifecycle management, application integrations, access governance, automation, and Okta development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise IAM/IGA solutions using Okta Identity Cloud.
• Configure and manage Okta IGA capabilities, including Access Requests, Access Certifications, Resource Catalogs, and access governance workflows.
• Build and maintain Joiner‑Mover‑Leaver (JML) processes for automated identity lifecycle management.
• Develop identity automation using Okta Workflows, including approvals, notifications, provisioning, de‑provisioning, and lifecycle events.
• Develop and integrate custom solutions using Okta Event Hooks, Inline Hooks, REST APIs, and Okta SDKs.
• Design and implement enterprise application integrations using SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
• Configure and administer Universal Directory, Profile Editor, Profile Mapping, Group Rules, and IdP/Federation.
• Support application onboarding and integration with Okta, including authentication, provisioning, and authorization requirements.
• Implement identity governance controls to support least‑privilege access, periodic access reviews, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, provisioning, federation, and lifecycle‑management issues.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to define and implement IAM solutions.
