Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Halol site is seeking a Senior Officer - Production to lead MES validation and ensure compliant manufacturing operations. You will oversee IQ/OQ/PQ activities, maintain ALCOA+ data integrity, and drive change control through SOPs and BMR/BPR updates.

Candidates should hold B.Pharm or M.Pharm with 2+ years in pharma production or QA, and be prepared to work with QA IT for regulatory compliance while continuously improving MES workflows and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharma production or quality.
• Experience with validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for MES and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Compliance (shared with QA IT) - Lead/oversee validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for MES, ensuring regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, GAMP 5). Review and approve validation protocols, reports, and change controls.
• Quality Oversight: Monitor MES operations to ensure compliance with SOPs, batch records, and data integrity (ALCOA+). Investigate deviations, discrepancies, and CAPA related to MES.
• Documentation & Change Management: Create/amend SOPs for MES; lead changes in BMR/BPR; approve MES documents and ensure audit-ready records; assess quality impact of system changes and manage change control processes.
• Audit & Inspection Support: Act as the quality representative during internal and external audits (e.g., FDA, EMA). Maintain inspection readiness for MES processes and documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize MES workflows for compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

  Approve MES-related documents (SOPs, work instructions) and ensure audit-ready records.
  Assess the quality impact of system changes and manage change control processes.
• Audit & Inspection Support:
  Act as the quality representative during internal and external audits (e.g., FDA, EMA).
  Maintain inspection readiness for MES processes and documentation
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities to optimize MES workflows for compliance and efficiency.
