Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Officer IT to support IT operations at our Goa plant. The candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, backup and restoration activities, user administration, manufacturing systems, troubleshooting, documentation, and IT support for plant operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Execute online backup activities for servers and other instruments/equipment.
2. Perform manual backup activities for instruments/equipment as per defined procedures.
3. Execute data restoration activities for instruments/equipment.
4. Perform user account creation, modification, and management for instruments/equipment.
5. Manage and administer embedded systems, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems.
6. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the Engineering and IT Departments.
7. Prepare, monitor, review, and ensure adherence to SOPs and established procedures.
8. Provide L1L2 level troubleshooting for IT systems and equipment within the assigned area.
9. Ensure proper documentation for:

• Authorization management
• Backup and restoration activities
• User management
• Regulatory and compliance-related requirements

10.Supervise and monitor LAN/WAN connectivity at the plant.

11.Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related issues within defined timelines.

12. Assist in the qualification and validation of manufacturing equipment from an IT perspective.

13.Manage desktops and coordinate the allocation and setup of new computer systems for users.

14. Maintain an up-to-date IT asset inventory

15. Ensure awareness and adherence to the call logging process, including proper escalation procedures for end users.

16.Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT support for plant operations.

17.Ensure compliance with applicable GxP, data integrity, and IT regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Pharma IT / Manufacturing IT.
• Qualification: B.Tech / BCA / Diploma in IT.
• Experience with manufacturing IT systems such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES, and embedded systems will be preferred.
• Good understanding of server backup, restoration, user management, LAN/WAN, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Exposure to GxP, validation, data integrity, and regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be willing to work in rotational shifts at the Goa plant location.
