Job summary

Tata Elxsi in Chennai, India seeks a senior Network Automation & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise, cloud, data center and edge networks. You will develop automation with Python, APIs, and Pulumi IaC, and manage Talos Linux-based Kubernetes environments with Omni cluster management.

Required: 10+ years networking with automation and cloud infra; B.E./B.Tech; strong skills in BGP/OSPF/MPLS, Python, Pulumi, AWS networking, and Linux administration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years networking with automation and cloud infra.
• Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise, cloud, data center, and edge network infrastructures.
• Develop network automation solutions using Python, APIs, and DevOps practices.
• Build and maintain Pulumi-based IaC solutions for provisioning and managing cloud and networking resources.
• Design and troubleshoot routing, switching, network segmentation, VPNs, and security solutions.
• Support AWS networking including VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPNs, Route Tables, and hybrid connectivity.
• Deploy and support Talos Linux-based Kubernetes environments and manage cluster lifecycle through Omni.
• Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Platform teams to implement scalable and automated infrastructure.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and network performance optimization.
