Job summary

Hexagon R&D India invites a seasoned network engineer to design, monitor and manage complex enterprise networks across on-prem and cloud environments in Hyderabad. You will own routing, switching, security, SD-WAN, and virtualization, work with multi-vendor devices, and optimize performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds BE/B.Tech and 5-8 years experience, demonstrates skills in BGP/OSPF, firewalling, VPNs, and scripting for automation, with CCNP/JNCIP/AWS-Azure certifications

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in CS/IT or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience designing, monitoring, and managing complex network environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, and TCP/IP with BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent network devices.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, PRTG).
• Strong understanding of network security principles (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, NAC).
• Cloud networking knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
• Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, DNS/DHCP, load balancers, and network automation.
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or AWS/Azure Cloud Networking or equivalent.
• Scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
• Knowledge of SDN and SD-WAN solutions.

Job description

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or AWS/Azure Cloud Networking or equivalent.
• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell).
