Innova ESI is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer/Administrator in Pune. The role requires deep expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure network infrastructures across multi-location environments.

The candidate will configure routers, switches, VLANs, and security policies, manage VPNs for remote access, and lead IPAM and network documentation efforts while collaborating with IT teams and vendors to ensure reliable, optimized performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven 10 years of experience as a Network Administrator with a track record in designing and managing complex networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and other network devices; optimize routing, VLANs and segmentation.
• Design and implement firewall policies and conduct regular security audits and incident responses.
• Monitor networks using monitoring tools and optimize configurations for reliability and performance.
• Design and manage wireless networks including access points and controllers and secure them against unauthorized access.
• Configure and manage VPNs for secure remote access and ensure data integrity.
• Implement and maintain IP addressing schemes and IPAM solutions; troubleshoot conflicts.

Responsibilities:

Network Design and Architecture:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures.

Develop network solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best

practices.

Router and Switch Configuration:

Configure and manage routers, switches, and other network devices.

Implement and optimize routing protocols, VLANs, and network segmentation.

Firewall and Security:

Design and implement firewall policies to ensure network security.

Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting regular security audits.

Network Monitoring and Optimization:

Utilize network monitoring tools to assess performance and identify areas for

improvement experienced in Cisco DNAC, ISE tools.

Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability.

Wireless Network Management:

Design and manage wireless networks, including access points and controllers.

Implement security measures for wireless networks to prevent unauthorized

access.

VPN and Remote Access:

Configure and manage Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for secure remote access.

Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data transmitted over VPN connections.

IP Address Management (IPAM):

Implement and maintain IP address schemes and IPAM solutions.

Troubleshoot IP address conflicts and optimize IP resource allocation.

Network Documentation:

Collaboration with IT Teams:

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven 10 years of experience as a Network Administrator with a strong track

record in designing and managing complex and multi-locational networks.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate / Professional

(CCNP) or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Technical Skills:

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security.

Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex network concepts to
