Job summary

Roundglass Foundation in Mohali, India, seeks a Senior Network and Security Engineer to design, implement and manage a highly available global network infrastructure. Reporting to IT leadership, you will oversee on-prem and cloud connectivity, enforce security standards, and drive improvements.

You will lead network upgrades, tune firewalls and DMZs, monitor performance, and collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a broad scope Network and Security Engineer role.
• Experience with Cisco Firewalls, Cisco Switch, or Palo Alto Networks preferred.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, VPN technologies, monitoring systems, and Wi‑Fi.
• QOSEXperience.
• AWSexperience
• Experiencewith EIGRP and IP SLA routing protocols.
• Cisco Certification(CCNA or CCNP) a plus, but not required.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP and best practices for availability and performance.
• Understanding of VOIP support systems (cloud based or on a network)
• Limitedtravel required, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot network hardware globally/remotely.
• Ensureenterprise-wide network scalability and performance through performancemonitoring, logging, packet analysis, and event correlation.
• Create designs fornetwork infrastructure and specifications for individual devices andcommunications circuits.
• Create and maintaindocumentation of network design and modify to ensure network infrastructure issecure, reliable and scalable.
• Responsible fordesigning and executing all network upgrades required to allow for rapidcompany growth.
• Update and tunecorporate firewalls and DMZ.
• Ensure the securityof the network.
• Ensure network meetsall required security standards and government regulations.
• Ensure firmwareupdates are deployed in a timely manner to mitigate risk.
• Secures networksystem by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
• Maintains skills byparticipating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications;maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Develop projectroadmaps, plan and implement project timelines, establish test plans, andrecommend and implement new network technologies.
• Work with vendors,operational users, and technical personnel in a cross-team capacity.

About the role:

Roundglass islooking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer. Reporting to the GlobalLeader of IT, our ideal candidate is highly skilled and will be responsible fordesigning, implementing and managing highly available network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be"out-of-the-box ready" and have experience managing office networkinfrastructure topologies and connectivity as well as networking in the publiccloud. As a functional leader, thisperson will plan, prioritize and schedule work efforts, keeping themselves ontask with light supervision.

The person assumingthis role will be resolving installation, configuration, connectivity andapplication problems to eliminate and/or minimize down time. This person will work with functional leadersto design and build network infrastructure that empowers their businessobjectives. The ideal candidate willproactively reduce recurrence of technical problems utilizing soundarchitectural design patterns, operating standards, procedures, processes and“best practices.”
