Job summary

Plative Inc. is seeking a Senior NetSuite Consultant to lead functional work for manufacturing, Field Services Management, and wholesale distribution clients.

You will own projects from discovery to UAT, translating complex business processes into scalable NetSuite solutions. In a fast-paced, agile environment, you will run discovery sessions, design solutions, configure workflows, and guide QA and client acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of NetSuite implementation experience in Manufacturing/Wholesale/ FSM.
• Strong NetSuite core configuration knowledge and ability to implement complex business logic.
• Knowledge of Waterfall/agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery sessions to map manufacturing and distribution requirements to NetSuite best practices and manage complex implementations.
• Identify risks early and work with senior consultants to mitigate.
• Execute end-to-end configuration including complex business logic, fields, and workflows.
• Serve as SME for manufacturing processes, distribution workflows, and NetSuite FSM.
• Design automated maintenance schedules, warranty tracking, and smart dispatching boards.
• Guide clients on cost accounting, landed costs, and inventory valuation.
• Lead internal QA and guide client UAT to validate system stability and data integrity.
• Delegate tasks to analysts and mentor their development.

Job description

As a Senior NetSuite Consultant at Plative, you will be the primary functional lead for clients in the manufacturing, Field Services Management, and wholesale distribution sectors. You will own the project lifecycle from discovery and design, to configuration and UAT; ensuring that complex business processes are translated into scalable NetSuite solutions. This is a high-impact role requiring the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client discovery sessions to map manufacturing and distribution business requirements to NetSuite best practice. Manage and deliver complex NetSuite implementation projects, including solution design and project management.
• Identify and communicate project limitations, shortcomings, and issues early on, working closely with senior consultants and architects to address and mitigate risks.
• Execute end-to-end configuration, including complex business logic, custom fields, and workflows.
• Act as a subject matter expert for manufacturing processes (e.g., Shop Floor, Control, BOM management), distribution workflows (e.g., Pick/Pack/Ship, Demand Planning).
• Act as a subject matter expert on NetSuite Field Service Management (FSM), designing automated preventive maintenance schedules, warranty tracking workflows, and smart dispatching boards.
• Guide clients on industry-leading practices for cost accounting, landed costs, preventive maintenance, WIP & Routing, Demand Planning and inventory valuation.
• Design and lead internal QA and guide client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system stability and data integrity.
• Delegate tasks to analysts and guide their development to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks related to scope, budget, or technical constraints with the project management team. Raise design risks, constraints, and critical dependencies to senior consultants and architects, working together to address and mitigate issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing NetSuite, specifically within the Manufacturing/Wholesale Distribution/FSM processes
• Strong understanding of NetSuite core configuration, including complex business logic
• Knowledge of Waterfall/agile methodology.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in spreadsheet-level data transformations.
• Familiarity with leading practices within the NetSuite ecosystem.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous project management and solution design skills
• Certifications: NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certification is highly preferred.
• Deep expertise in Strong understanding of the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, asset management and Item Management processes.
• Proven experience around Manufacturing on implementing Advanced Inventory, Work Orders & Assemblies, Advanced Manufacturing, Demand Planning, WIP & Routings, MRP, NetSuite WMS, Manufacturing Mobile,and complex Landed Cost configurations.
• Proven experience in Field Service Management (FSM) implementing Core Service Tasking, Dispatch Boards, Mobile Application orchestration (including Offline Data Sync), Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling, Asset Lifecycle Management, Van Stock/Truck Inventory optimization, and complex SLA & Warranty tracking configurations.
• Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) is a significant plus.
• Experience with NetSuite Ship Central or third-party shipping/WMS integrations common in distribution (e.g., RF-Smart, Highjump, Pacejet, ShipStation).
• Experience in Jira and Google Workspace
