Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform as a skilled individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development practices, such as GitHub Copilot, Vertex Studios, Claude code assist or equivalent LLM‑based tooling, to improve velocity and code quality.
• Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core (.NET8+).
• Build and maintain Optimizely CMS, Commerce, and DXP solutions, including content modelling, APIs, middleware and custom integrations.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs consumed by front‑end teams, third‑party systems, and microservices.
• Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure and contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code practices using Terraform or Bicep.
• Write and maintain automated tests—unit, integration, and regression—and collaborate with QA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend services and platform integrations.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery with cross‑functional teams.
• Stay current on emerging technologies—including AI/ML services—and share learnings with the team.
