Role

We are looking for a Lead – Optimizely CMS & Digital Experience to drive the end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑scale digital experience solutions. This role blends architecture & delivery leadership (60%) with hands‑on engineering (40%), making it ideal for someone who enjoys owning solutions while remaining technically engaged.

You’ll work across multi‑language, multi‑market environments on Optimizely DXP, partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver modern, scalable, and highly optimized digital experiences.

• Lead architecture, solution design, and technical direction for enterprise Optimizely CMS implementations
• Define scalable content architecture including content types, blocks, components, templates, workflows, and governance models
• Design complete Optimizely DXP solutions including environment topology, deployment slots, CDN/edge configurations, and blue‑green or canary deployments
• Own solution design across CMS, personalization, search, integrations, multilingual frameworks, and editorial governance
• Conduct technical workshops, architectural reviews, and enablement sessions

Hands‑on Engineering (40%)

• Develop CMS features, content models, templates, routing, workflows, and editorial capabilities
• Build integrations with CRM/CDP, DAM, PIM, analytics platforms, and external APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Implement personalization, content recommendations, and advanced search experiences
• Ensure SEO, accessibility (WCAG), security, performance, and compliance best practices

Enterprise Authoring, Governance & Delivery

• Define governance models including workflows, roles, permissions, Projects, and content lifecycle
• Support global authors across multi‑site and multi‑market setups
• Act as the primary technical client‑facing lead for workshops, demos, and solution reviews
• Lead Agile ceremonies, mentor team members, and support UAT, go‑live, and hypercare

Preferred Qualification

• 5-8 years of IT/digital experience with 5+ years in Optimizely CMS (mandatory)
• Strong .NET/C#, Optimizely CMS & DXP expertise
• Hands‑on experience with integrations, SEO, WCAG, and performance optimization
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

• Optimizely certifications (CMS, Content Cloud, Search & Navigation)
• Experience with Optimizely Graph, Content Recommendations, personalization engines
• Strong knowledge of security (OAuth/OIDC, OWASP) and compliance (GDPR/CCPA)
