Job summary

Anko GCC, the global capability centre for Kmart Group Australia, is based in Bengaluru and seeks an experienced ML/Ops specialist to propel LLM deployment and platform experimentation.

You will own end-to-end from data pipelines to model serving, work in an Agile team, and contribute to Chanakya with minimal guidance, using Python/Java/Scala and vector databases to build scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in MLE/ML Ops and data engineering.
• Experience with LLMOps, LLM integration, vector databases, and embedding models.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java or Scala, with solid data structures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Chanakya, the Machine Learning Platform, and drive enhancements with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate in Agile scrum teams to deliver scalable ML solutions.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience working as an MLE/MLOps/DevOps/Data Engineer/Data Scientist Experience with LLMOps and Generative AI, including LLM integration, vector databases, and embedding models. Strong OOPS and programming development experience in Python/Java/Scala and strong concepts in Data Structures & Algorithms
• Experience working in scrum teams with Agile tools like JIRA
• Ability to recommend & build enhancements to Chanakya (our Machine Learning Platform) with no guidance
