Job summary

Anko in Bengaluru, the global capability centre for Kmart Group Australia, is seeking an experienced ML/AI professional to advance Chanakya and our AI platform. You will lead initiatives that accelerate retail tech, collaborating across data, software, and business teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.

You bring 5+ years in MLE/MLOps/DevOps/Data Science, strong Python/Java/Scala skills, and hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in MLE/MLOps/DevOps/Data Engineering/Data Science.
• Experience with LLMOps and Generative AI, including LLM integration, vector databases, and embedding models.
• Strong OOPs and programming in Python/Java/Scala; solid data structures & algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Ability to recommend and build enhancements to Chanakya (our Machine Learning Platform) with no guidance.
