Job summary

Kyndryl in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CRM/CE engineer to lead design, development, and integration efforts across modules and platforms. You will build plugins, workflows, and APIs using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and manage Dataverse customizations.

The role requires strong integration skills with REST APIs, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps, and involves AMS support and CI/CD implementation.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of IT experience with strong hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE development and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, and enhancement of Dynamics 365 CRM/CE solutions.
• Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, business process flows, web resources, and APIs using C#, .NET, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Configure Dataverse tables, forms, views, dashboards, security roles, and field-level security.
• Design and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
• Build and support integrations between Dynamics 365 CRM and enterprise systems using REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure Service Bus.
• Perform technical analysis, solution design, effort estimation, and produce technical design docs.
• Provide L2/L3 support in AMS environments and drive incident, problem, and change management.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Manage packaging, migrations, deployments, and post-production validation across environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ALM practices using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Review code and enforce security, performance, and maintainability standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior developers.
• Monitor Dynamics 365 and Power Platform updates and recommend enhancements.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, customization, and enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE solutions.
• Develop and maintain plugins, custom workflow activities, business process flows, web resources, custom APIs, and client‑side extensions using C#, .NET, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Configure and customize Dataverse tables, forms, views, dashboards, relationships, business rules, security roles, teams, and field‑level security.
• Design and implement Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, where applicable.
• Build and support integrations between Dynamics 365 CRM and enterprise systems using REST APIs, Dynamics 365 Web API, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure Service Bus.
• Perform technical analysis, solution design, effort estimation, impact assessment, and prepare technical design documentation.
• Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, service requests, production defects, performance issues, and problem management within an Application Management Services (AMS) environment.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect resolution, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage solution packaging, environment migrations, data migration activities, release deployments, and post‑production validation across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and Power Platform Pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards focused on security, maintainability, performance, scalability, and reusability.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, testers, project managers, support teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability development within the team.
• Monitor Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform updates, assess their impact, and recommend relevant technical enhancements and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10‑15 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE development and support.
• Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service modules; exposure to Marketing or Field Service modules is an added advantage.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dynamics 365 SDK, plugins, custom workflow activities, web resources, Custom APIs, and Dynamics 365 Web API.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, model‑driven applications, Power Apps, Power Automate, business process flows, and solution lifecycle management.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 security models, including business units, security roles, teams, access teams, hierarchy security, and field‑level security.
• Hands‑on integration experience using REST APIs, OData, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Service Bus, and enterprise middleware solutions.
• Experience with FetchXML, SQL Server, data migration, data import/export, data reconciliation, and integration error handling.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, environment variables, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, design patterns, secure coding practices, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience working within AMS (Application Management Services) environments, including incident, problem, change, release, SLA, and continuous improvement management.
• Ability to create technical specifications, solution design documents, deployment guides, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Pages, Canvas Apps, custom connectors, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Application Insights, Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, and secure integration patterns.
• Knowledge of SSIS and KingswaySoft for Dynamics 365 data migration and integration.
• Experience with XrmToolBox, Plugin Registration Tool, Ribbon Workbench, Configuration Migration Tool, and other Dynamics 365 utilities.
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 Field Service, Customer Insights, Customer Service Workspace, omnichannel solutions, or contact centre capabilities.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale, multi‑region, multilingual, or multi‑business‑unit Dynamics 365 implementations.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) best practices, and platform capacity management.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, estimation, technical governance, release planning, and production transition activities.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and/or Azure are highly desirable.
