About the Company
Pure Pay Liaison Office India is a buying house specializing in apparel sourcing and merchandising for international clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to manage end-to-end merchandising operations, ensuring seamless coordination between buyers, vendors, and manufacturing partners while delivering quality products within committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete order lifecycle from enquiry, product development, sampling, and costing to production, shipment, and final delivery.
- Handle direct communication with international buyers regarding product development, quotations, order confirmations, production updates, and shipment schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors based on quality, pricing, production capacity, and compliance standards.
- Prepare product costings, negotiate pricing with vendors, and ensure profitability while meeting buyer expectations.
- Coordinate with sourcing teams for fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor the order critical path and ensure production milestones are achieved within committed timelines.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning, quality, and logistics teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Review and approve development samples, fit samples, pre-production samples, and shipment samples before buyer submission.
- Ensure products meet buyer specifications, quality standards, technical requirements, and approved samples.
- Coordinate inline, midline, and final quality inspections, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions wherever required.
- Monitor factory compliance with buyer requirements, including social, ethical, environmental, and workplace safety standards.
- Coordinate third-party inspections whenever required by buyers.
- Prepare and verify export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, purchase orders, shipping instructions, and other export-related documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments.
- Proactively resolve production, quality, and logistics issues to avoid delays and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate merchandising reports, order trackers, production status reports, and buyer communication records.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in a buying house or export-oriented apparel organization.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, sourcing, product development, costing, quality assurance, and export merchandising.
- Hands-on experience in buyer handling, vendor development, compliance management, production follow-up, and shipment coordination.
- Good understanding of AQL standards, garment quality inspections, and buyer compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with export documentation and international shipping procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and merchandising software.
- Bachelors degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field will be an added advantage.
