Job summary

Medico Revexa Solutions is seeking a skilled medical coder to review patient records, physician documentation, and operative notes to assign accurate codes. You will ensure coding accuracy, alignment with CMS, AMA, payer, and client-specific guidelines, and perform audits to maintain quality.

The role involves reviewing denials, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions. Preference for experience in PCP, ED/E&M, Surgery, Cardiology, or related specialties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign modifiers as per current coding guidelines and ensure proper sequencing.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, AMA, payer and client-specific guidelines across coding activities.
• Conduct coding audits and quality checks to sustain accuracy and productivity.
• Investigate coding-related denials, identify root causes, and recommend preventive actions.
