Job summary

Philips is a global health technology company seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead modified launch design projects and provide end-to-end engineering support for supplier-initiated changes.

The role requires strong CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks), GD&T knowledge, and experience with Windchill or Agile PLM. You will work with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with FDA design controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of hands-on design engineering and product development experience.
• Experience supporting modified launch designs and supplier transfers.
• Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute modified launch design (MLD) projects for class 2 devices and changes initiated by cross-functional teams or third parties.
• Provide end-to-end engineering support for supplier-initiated changes including part design, tooling, and manufacturing location changes.
• Follow design controls governed by FDA.
• Lead cross-functional teams with strong communication skills.
• Conduct DFM, DFA reviews with suppliers; hands-on with Windchill/Agile/PLM tools.

Senior Mechanical Engineer -STET

Your role:

• Responsible for executing a modified launch design (MLD) projects for class 2 devices and change initiated by cross functional team or third party
• End to End engineering support for supplier-initiated change requests includes part design, tooling, and manufacturing location changes
• Follow design controls governed by FDA
• Should have excellent communication skills to lead CFT team
• Conduct DFM, DFA reviews with suppliers. Proved hands on Windchill/ Agile / PLM software ‘s

You're the right fit if you have:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in design engineering and product development
• Proven background supporting, modified launch designs , supplier transfer and sustaining engineering projects
• Demonstrated success working with global cross-functional teams

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software: Creo and SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including plastic molding
• Skilled in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
• Working knowledge of PLM systems such as Windchill or Agile

How we work together

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
