Job summary

Egis Group in India is seeking a Senior Master Planner with strong master planning and urban design expertise to lead large-scale projects across the Middle East. The role involves concept-to-detail design, cross-disciplinary coordination, client engagement, and authority approvals.

You will mentor junior staff, review deliverables, and contribute to design guidelines while delivering high-quality planning outcomes for residential, mixed-use and destination developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in architecture/urban planning or urban design.
• 5+ years of experience in master planning or urban design.
• Strong experience on Middle East projects, preferably UAE or Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in multidisciplinary consultancy or developer environments.
• Understanding of planning regulations and development processes.
• Ability to coordinate infrastructure, mobility, landscape and utilities within a masterplan.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Master Planner to join our design team. The successful candidate will have strong experience in master planning and urban design, with a proven track record of delivering projects across the Middle East.

The role involves developing masterplans from concept through detailed design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting authority approvals, and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

• 6. Review development yields, plot layouts, road networks, access, parking, and mobility strategies.
• 7. Prepare and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• 8. Review consultant deliverables and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• 9. Mentor junior team members and support project delivery.
• 10. Contribute to design guidelines, planning controls, and development

What do we need from you

Requirements

• 1. Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning/Urban Design
• 2. Minimum 5 years' experience in master planning or urban design.
• 3. Strong experience on Middle East projects, preferably in UAE and/or Saudi Arabia.
• 4. Experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy or developer environment.
• 5. Good understanding of planning regulations, authority requirements, and development processes.
• 6. Ability to coordinate infrastructure, mobility, landscape, and utility requirements within a masterplan.
• 7. Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• 8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within project teams.
