Job summary

Role requires knowledge of underwriting guidelines and collaboration with Sales and Client Servicing to finalize quotes, while building strong client relationships for high service levels.

Qualifications

• Underwriting general insurance proposals, with SME Property, Engineering, Marine focus.
• Analyze the client risk profile including business nature, existing coverage, and past claims.
• Collate client data/documents and prepare RFQs for insurers.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines, regulatory and reinsurance policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure service quality and loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite General Insurance proposals for SME Property, Engineering, and Marine lines.

Job description

• -Underwriting all General Insurance proposals (experience in SME Property, Engineering, Marine preferably)
• - Analyze the client's risk profile including their nature of business, existing insurance coverage, past claims experience, etc.
• -Collate necessary client data/documents and prepare RFQs of various insurers based on the same
• -Maintain a working knowledge of all current underwriting guidelines, regulatory and reinsurance policies
• -Developed and maintained relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
• -Coordinate with insurers and various departments such as Sales and Client Servicing for finalizing quotes.
