In this role, you will:

Lead multiple software engineering teams to design, build, and operate robust,scalable, and secure services, including system design (LLD), API design, and datamodelling for high-impact business capabilities

Lead, coordinate, and collaborate on multiple concurrent and complex cross-organizational initiatives, understanding goals, constraints, and perspectives, makingresource, delivery, and architectural trade-offs to maximize strategic value

Define technical direction and engineering standards for your area, driving adoptionof best practices in coding, testing, architecture, observability, and operational excellence across teams

Partner closely with product, architecture, and other technology leaders to prioritizeroadmaps, translate business requirements into technical execution plans, and delivermeasurable outcomes at domain or multi-service level

Hire, grow, and coach engineering managers and senior engineers, building aninclusive, high-performance culture that emphasizes technical excellence, ownership,and continuous improvement

Ensure reliable, resilient operation of production systems, including on-call strategies,incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of SLIs/SLOs

Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes,including familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applyingAI/ML concepts to real world products across multiple domains

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Level; Technical Degree Preferred

8+ years of relevant professional experience and 3+ years of people managementexperience

Proven track record of end-to-end ownership for complex systems, including systemdesign (LLD), API design, data modelling, implementation, and ongoing operationswithin a defined product or domain scope

Strong proficiency in core software engineering fundamentals (data structures,algorithms, distributed systems, testing, and CI/CD practices) and in building secure,reliable, and observable services

Demonstrated ability to set technical direction, make data-driven trade-offs, and align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software at scale

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading multiple engineering teams or a group/area within a large-scale,distributed technology environment, with accountability for domain-level architectureand technical strategy

Track record of designing and evolving large, distributed, high-throughput systems,including service decomposition, data modeling at scale, and well-versioned,backward-compatible APIs

Deep experience with production operations at scale, including SRE practices,capacity planning, performance optimization, and building systems for highavailability and resilience

Demonstrated ability to drive architectural modernization (for example,re-platforming, migration to cloud-native services, or refactoring monoliths intoservices) while maintaining strong delivery outcomes
