Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Powai, Mumbai, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with extensive expertise in tendering, estimation, cost control and vendor management for real estate construction projects.

The role focuses on interior fit-out and aluminium window works, with duties to prepare BOQs, float tenders, evaluate bids and negotiate contracts while coordinating with Projects, Design, Procurement and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 15+ years of experience in quantity surveying, contracts and tendering for real estate projects.
• Strong expertise in interior works, aluminium windows, façade systems and finishing.
• Knowledge of rate analysis, BOQ preparation, estimation, contracts and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs based on drawings and specifications for civil, interior, MEP, and aluminium works.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, floating tenders, RFQs, and manage technical/commercial bid processes.
• Evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate rates, and finalize.
• Prepare work orders, LOIs, contracts, and coordinate with Projects, Design, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Monitor project budgets, contractor bills, variation orders, extra items, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
