Job summary

IndiGo is seeking an experienced Fuel Optimization and Performance role to drive carbon emissions monitoring and operational efficiency. You will liaise with OEMs, engineering, and flight teams to analyze fuel data and propose optimization measures.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Fuel MIS systems and BI tools, and expert proficiency in PowerPoint for presenting insights to senior management and regulatory authorities.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint for data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive fuel optimization initiatives and carbon emissions monitoring.
• Liaise with OEMs and cross‑functional divisions to support operational efficiency.
• Conduct monthly fuel analysis, tracking, and presentation of fuel optimization measures.
• Support fuel budgeting and related operational efficiency projects.
• Manage databases and systems used for storing and analyzing fuel consumption data.
• Generate detailed reports and present insights to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Assess and report environmental impacts related to fuel consumption.
• Contribute to sustainability and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Flight Operations, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams to enhance operational fuel efficiency.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, special operations approvals, and aircraft induction‑related activities.
• Liaise with aircraft manufacturers, IOCC, NPD, and Engineering teams for technical and operational support.
• Serve as alternate focal point of the CORSIA Cell for regulatory submissions, approvals, and external audits.
• Supervise Aircraft Performance Monitoring processes (Monthly APD tracking, updates, etc.) in coordination with Engineering.
