  • Providing payroll subject matter leadership across multi‑jurisdiction environments.
  • Directing payroll governance activities, including status reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Guiding teams in executing payroll operations and transformation initiatives.
  • Reviewing payroll outputs and documentation for quality and consistency.
  • Resolving escalated payroll issues and developing resolution plans.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to address operational matters.
  • Driving payroll process improvements, including automation and standardization.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance payroll delivery efficiency and client service.
  • Advising on future‑state processes and technology‑enabled improvements.
  • Supporting audit and compliance activities through documentation and review.
  • Coaching team members to build payroll technical knowledge and delivery excellence.

As a Senior Manager - Payroll, you will lead the delivery of payroll services and transformation projects for clients, including payroll migrations, system implementations, compliance reviews, and managed services. Within our Management Consulting practice, you will specialize in providing strategic consulting services to help organizations optimize their workforce and talent management strategies. You will work closely with clients to analyze workforce trends, develop workforce planning strategies, and design talent acquisition, development, and retention programs to align with business objectives and drive organizational success.

As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and experience to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a strategic level to drive project success. You will motivate and coach teams to solve complex problems, applying sound judgment and developing high‑performing, diverse, and inclusive teams. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will oversee complex payroll engagements, manage senior client relationships, and provide payroll subject matter leadership, driving quality, governance, risk management, and process improvement across delivery teams.
