Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager- Operations who will oversee end-to-end project operations, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of residential and commercial interior projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram includes managing project timelines, coordinating with design teams, vendors, and contractors, and monitoring budgets and resource allocation. The role involves implementing operational processes, maintaining quality standards across design execution, and resolving on-ground issues to keep projects on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for interior design and modular projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, site supervisors, and operations staff.
• Ensure seamless execution of interior projects, adhering to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and implement SOPs to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and resolve project bottlenecks, escalations, and conflicts.
• Manage vendor, factory and contractor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and quality output.
• Track project performance metrics and present reports to leadership on operations performance and improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational processes, resource planning, and cost optimization.
• Ability to collaborate with design teams, vendors, contractors, and clients, with clear and professional communication skills.
• Comfort with technology-driven design tools, including AI-assisted insights, 3D walkthroughs, and project management software.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance tracking, and conflict resolution.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations within the interior design / modular furniture industry (preferably from companies like Homelane, Livspace, or similar).
• Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of project execution, vendor management, and client servicing.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Operations, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
