Job summary

msg industry advisors AG seeks a consulting leader to own international MES and Manufacturing Transformation programs from setup to rollout and stabilization. You will govern scope, budget, and resources while coordinating with IT, Quality, and sites across multiple regions.

The role requires in-depth MES/Manufacturing IT knowledge, GMP/Quality processes, and strong German and English communication. Willingness to travel internationally is expected, with a hybrid working model offered.

Take end-to-end ownership of international MES and Manufacturing Transformation programs - from program setup, governance, solution design, and implementation through to rollout, go-live, and stabilization - while keeping scope, roadmap, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies firmly under control.

Across complex multi-site programs, you bring together business functions, IT, Quality, sites, vendors, and system integrators, providing clear direction to project teams throughout demanding and critical phases.

Functional projects and workstreams covering process optimization and harmonization, solution design, system integration, data flows, and data migration are managed with confidence, while validation activities can also be supported conceptually at both program and project level.

With a comprehensive understanding of the relevant functional and technical concepts, you identify dependencies early and work closely with experts to develop and evaluate robust solutions. Particularly during rollout, readiness, and go-live phases, you drive decisions and follow them through, ensure successful delivery, manage escalations, and represent the program confidently towards management, steering committees, and other relevant stakeholders.

Your profile Consulting experience in leading complex international programs and projects within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry forms the foundation of your expertise. Strong knowledge of MES and Manufacturing IT is complemented by hands‑on experience in the implementation, integration, and multi‑site rollout of corresponding solutions. Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and their interfaces with Quality, Automation/OT, ERP/SAP, and other relevant systems are areas in which you are highly confident. A solid understanding of GxP, Computerized Systems Validation, and pharmaceutical Quality processes enables you to translate regulatory requirements effectively into program planning, governance, and delivery. Excellent German and English skills, combined with a willingness to travel internationally, enable you to operate confidently across complex global program environments.
