Job summary

Consolidated Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Underwriting Operations to lead onshore and offshore teams in a high-volume mortgage environment.

The role focuses on strategy, process transformation, and performance excellence across Credit, Income and Compliance areas. You will design and rollout strategies to optimize staffing, throughput, and client engagement with US partners, while driving quality and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in US real estate underwriting operations.
• Experience managing US clients in the real estate underwriting space.
• Must be open to supporting the US time zone.
• B1/B2 visa holder and willing to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective strategies for building and growing the US underwriting operations; aim to build a strong offshore team of 100 underwriters.
• Oversee progress of classroom and on-the-job training.
• Oversee production ramp-up to meet required levels.
• Monitor quality and give direction to progress on quality level.
• Work with PreSales manager to pitch for new business.
• Provide day-to-day business reporting (MIS, Executive Summary, Business Insights).
• Manage the SLA and delivery obligations made with the client.
• Handle other activities mutually agreed via email or amendment.

CurrentOperationModel

Thecurrentmodelofoperationsfollowsaseamlessintegratedmodelcomprisingofonshoreandoffshoreteammembers.Theoffshoreunitpredominantlyassistsinperformingbookmarkinganddataextractionactivitiesonaloanfile.TheDataextractionisperformedacrossCredit,IncomeandCompliancesectionsoftheloanfile.Bookmarkingensuresbookmarkingconsistencyacrossthelabellingofeachdocument,chronologicallyarrangingsimilardocuments,removalofduplicatedocuments,re-arrangingmisplaceddocumentsandnestingbookmarksunderaheaderbookmark.Currentlybothbookmarkinganddataextractionareperformedusingathird-partyAIdrivensoftware.FromtheOffshoreside,theUnderwriterscollectdataandreviewonthefollowingareas:Credit(IncomeCalculation)andCompliance.

Aspartoftheresponsibility,theSeniorManager-UnderwritingOperations,isrequiredtoconceive,design,developandrolloutstrategiesthatcanresultinthefollowingoutcomes:

Aspartofperformancemanagement,theSOCwillbeassessedonthefollowingKPIs.TheweightageoftheKPIparameterscanbediscussedandagreedbetweentheSOCandthePresidentoftheorganization.

• ToprovideeffectivestrategiesforbuildingandgrowingtheDISUnderwritingOperations.Thegoalistobuildastrongteamof100offshoreunderwriters.
• Overseeprogressofclassroomandonjobtraining.
• OverseeProductionrampuptomeettherequiredlevel.
• Monitorqualitylevelandgivedirectionstoprogressonqualitylevel.
• WorkwithPresalesmanagertopitchfornewbusiness.
