Job summary

Consolidated Analytics is seeking a skilled mortgage post-close team lead to oversee underwriter workflows and ensure high-quality delivery. You will guide pre-delivery QC, stay current with FNMA/FHLMC updates, and drive timely, accurate client deliverables.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a team lead role for US mortgage post-close or live underwriting, with strong knowledge of income, credit, collateral, and capital evaluation.

• Underwrite Purchase, Refinance, and Construction loans.
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality checkpoint before files are delivered.
• Perform pre-delivery QC on a sample of loans and track error trends.
• Stay current on FNMA/FHLMC guideline updates and cascade changes.
• Maintain a positive team environment and address issues promptly.
• Set daily/weekly output aligned to SLA targets.
• Ensure client-facing deliverables are accurate and on-time.

Domain Expertise

• Solid working knowledge of All 4C's: Income, Credit, Collateral, and Capital
• Proficiency in calculating all income types: Salaried, Self-Employed (1084/1120S/K-1), and Other Income
• Hands-on experience underwriting Purchase, Refinance, and Construction loans
• Strong working knowledge of Agency Guidelines (Fannie Mae DU / Freddie Mac LPA)
• Ability to evaluate full loan files and render Approve / Suspend / Counter-offer decisions
• Reviewing appraisals for valuation accuracy, comparables, and property conditions
• Identifying red flags across credit reports, title, title insurance, and closing documents
• Working knowledge of overlays, exception management, and investor-specific guidelines

Roles & Responsibilities

• Stay current on FNMA/FHLMC guideline updates; cascade changes to the team through structured briefings
• Maintain a positive and energized team environment; address interpersonal issues promptly
• Set clear daily/weekly output expectations aligned to SLA targets set by the AM
• Ensure all client-facing deliverables are accurate, complete, and on-time

Minimum 2 years of experience as Team lead in US Mortgage Post close or live Underwriting.
