Mercer is seeking candidates to join our Knowledge Management Team based in the Gurugram office. This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office at least three days a week.

The Marsh Commercial Industry team is looking for a candidate for a newly created role. The team leads Marsh’s industry strategy to drive revenue, deliver client growth, and equip colleagues with the skills and knowledge to enhance client engagements and connectivity across Marsh.
This role will support the team through knowledge sharing, content curation, research deliverables with industry and colleague insights, community activation, growth planning support, and other key people- and innovation-centric initiatives, working closely with the core industry team.
We will count on you for:
- Support efforts to execute industry priorities, ranging from Industry Business Council coordination to Industry Community activation to preparing research deliverables for industry-specific sales enablement.
- Govern content collection, quality and curation to improve consistent content publishing, findability and reuse - increasingly important on the digital roadmap with AI and automated tools.
- Embed KM best practices and drive change adoption with colleagues to strengthen knowledge-sharing behaviors.
- Use analytics (e.g., Power BI) and emerging tech (AI/automation) to generate insights, guide content curation, and improve content usage.
- Partner with stakeholders and operational teams (SMEs, Leaders, Marketing, Comms, Learning) to be on core teams translating business needs into practical knowledge and research solutions.
- Manage KM and research projects end-to-end, including complex senior-level engagements and special initiatives.
- Provide secondary research, analytical work to support business development, growth planning and monitoring, and delivery of go-to-market and enablement projects.
- Produce research deliverables by identifying appropriate sources; collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information; drawing insights and conclusions.
- Provide market intelligence on topics including (but not limited to) industry overview decks and data synthesis
- Produce reporting deliverables (e.g. on client relationships and revenue performance) by collating, analyzing and presenting internal information (typically sourced from financial reporting and CRM systems) for internal purposes and use as part of our collective intelligence for prospecting and bid work
- Well versed with AI tools and technologies to be leveraged during automation opportunities as well as project delivery.
What you need to have:
- Degree in finance, business, economics, commerce, or similar degree.
- 8+ years experience in a combination of knowledge management, content management, community development, secondary research / advisory / consulting role in a large professional services organization.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Digitally-savvy, forward-thinking, curious about the future of work in a multi-national professional services organization and the impact to clients.
- Strong collaborative decision-making, comprehensive problem-solving, positive influencing skills, and ability to partner with colleagues at all levels.
- Proven ability to gather, curate and analyze complex business information and draw insights and make recommendations.
- Exceptional analytical skills, good with numbers, critical thinking, and attention to details.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders effectively.
- Proactivity, ability to cope with uncertainty and work on ad hoc requests. Ability to work in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment while managing multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and on a virtual, global team.
- Advanced Microsoft skills/MS suite, including Excel and Power Point and the ability to produce visually effective presentations.
- Well versed and experienced with key content management tools, specifically SharePoint, and research tools such as Capital IQ, Factiva, Thomson One etc. and emerging AI tools.
