Role overview:
- The Senior Manager IT Infrastructure is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end design, governance, and operations of the organizations hybrid IT ecosystem.
- This position requires deep Subject Matter Expertise across Azure Cloud, Identity & Access Management and enterprise infrastructure, with the ability to translate architectural vision into operational excellence and drive large-scale transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Azure Cloud Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute Azure cloud adoption, modernization, and transformation strategy
- Establish governance frameworks (subscriptions, policies, tagging, security guardrails)
- Manage Azure services across compute, networking, and storage
- Design high availability and disaster recovery architectures
- Drive FinOps initiatives including cost optimization and forecasting
2. Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Architect enterprise IAM using Microsoft Entra ID
- Implement SSO, MFA, RBAC, Conditional Access
- Manage PAM and Just-In-Time access
- Drive identity governance including access reviews and compliance
3. Server & Hybrid Infrastructure
- Manage Windows/Linux environments lifecycle
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Ensure hybrid infrastructure integration and security
- Drive patching and vulnerability remediation
4. Network Infrastructure & Security
- Manage enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching)
- Ensure secure connectivity across cloud and on-prem environments
- Support SOC operations and incident response
- Maintain ISMS aligned with ISO 27001
- Ensure compliance with NIST CSF and PCI DSS
6. Business Continuity & DR
- Define and manage backup, DR, and BCP strategies
- Ensure RPO/RTO alignment and conduct DR drills
8. Automation & DevSecOps
Drive Infrastructure as Code and enable CI/CD pipelines
9. Manage vendors and service providers with SLAs
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A graduate degree is mandatory; a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years in Infrastructure & Cloud, with 5+ years in Azure
Certifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate (Mandatory)
- CCSP, Azure, AWS certifications, ITIL (preferred)
